Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay is a new oceanfront resort that is surrounded by 20 acres of landscaped grounds in quiet and unspoiled Nuevo Mazatlan, 20 minutes north of downtown. Ocean-view suites with kitchens and balconies are housed in an architecture style that is pale-yellow in appearance and blends Mexican with Mediterranean styles. A lobby has its own lounge area which has a terrace overlooking the ocean. There is a nearby piano bar that provides live music to help set the atmosphere. Between the resort and the ocean is a soft, sandy beach as well as a freeform pool and mini-spa.

The Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Resort is an exclusive part of "New Mazatlan". This is a shiny jewel among resorts with a great view overlooking the Pacific Ocean and its own magnificent beach. The mangroves surrounding the pool are 150 years old and provide a great place to rest and enjoy the sound of the native birds. There are lots of activities available in the area, ranging from a myriad of water sports land sports such as golf and tennis. The Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay features well manicured gardens and expansive lawns, ponds stocked with koi, streams and waterfalls, Greek-style statuary as well as a pond that is home to swans, ducks and flamingos. Stay during the right time of the year and guests can help release endangered sea turtles back into the ocean.
